Assorted Tools and Programs

These are assorted tools and programs, usually completed or discontinued. Source code is included in pretty much all of these projects. Most of the Windows-based programs require .NET Framework 1.1 or 2.0 to be installed.

Windows-based

  • Distribute 11-18-2004: wrote this @ work & home to come up with a solution to a work issue. Also may have some use to anyone that needs to upload things & email someone a copy of that content for verification.
  • Hurricane Track Display, 2004-2005: project files from an attempt to develop a hurricane-tracking screensaver.
  • MyEnd 2.0, 12-19-2004: automatic network tester & "traceroute" utility for Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003. Runs in the background as a tray icon, or can be used to do directed traceroutes.
  • QuickResizer 1-5-2006: drag a directory of images into the program and mass-convert them to a new image size.
  • RDPTools 1-14-2007: contains a program to help manage RDP6 connections, and a program to reset the local Terminal Services license key.
  • ScanVBNet 3-8-2006: this tool scans VB.NET files in a given directory for Sub, Function, Dim, Private, Public, and Protected statements. This is best used for mapping programs to find duplicate functions and variables.
  • SysAdapt 1.30b, 10-8-2006: this tool utilizes system and 3rd-party tools to clean the system temp folders, optimize & compress the EXE files, and defrag the system afterwards. Extract to a new folder to run; options are selectable.
  • Toilet.NET 2.0, 4-3-2005: toilet icon installer, based on an old Win95 icon changer. You can change your Recycle Bin to a toilet, complete with flushing!
  • Truck Calculators 1.1, Fall 2004: assorted calculators
  • VisualFile 0.1, 5-15-2008: folder visualization tool.
  • WinPenguins 0.6-proposed, 4-4-2005: unofficial fork of WinPenguins.
